How was your experience with this page? Needs Improvement Love it!I have owned the car since December but it is time to let it go. It was originally a non-turbo automatic and has been converted to a twin turbo 5 speed manual, one of the first on the west coast.
Overall condition is 9. The car just passed CA smog and is registered until May Partial trades may be acceptable depending on vehicle. Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions.
The car has been featured and posted in magazines, online blogs and websites all over the world. The car is currently used by Miro Wheels in their advertising campaign and has won numerous car shows all over California. Wheels, Suspension, Brakes - 4 - 18x9. On Apr at PDT, seller added the following information: As posted above, the car is current running the 18 x 9.
Wheels mounted in the pictures below are not included. The price increases on the base and Black Edition come with some additional goodies that should soften the blow to pocketbooks, including a retuned suspension that promises a "more sophisticated ride," while LED headlights come standard. Bose Active Noise Cancellation has also been added to the GT-R, as has a new interior color option on the base model.
For a full rundown of new goodies on the GT-R, check out our original post on the vintage. We've reached out to Nissan to see why there was such a big increase, and will update as soon as we have an update.
We last featured the crowdsourced Project Titan pickup back in September, back when Nissan revealed that its big, bruising custom pickup would take to the wilds of Alaska with a pair of veterans from the Wounded Warrior Project at the wheel. Now, their journey across the wilds has been fully revealed as part of a minute short film. David Guzman and Kevin McMahon are the pilots of the brutish truck, and while the film is ostensibly focused on the journey and the challenges that come with it, the release of the video on Veterans Day Remembrance Day or Armistice Day, depending on where you're fromgives some indication to the dominant theme of the story - recovery.
The two travel across Alaska in the Titan on different missions, working with both veterans and civilians afflicted with post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project.
From the avalanche-surviving photographer who's suffering from PTSD to an Air Force veteran who routinely takes recovering vets on fishing trips, the pair experience the many efforts at recovery and support throughout the course of the missions and their journey. Television today might be at one the best points in the medium's history with shows like Mad Men, Louie, True Detective and streaming offerings like House of Cards.
However, none of those come close to the number of car chases and explosions of '70s and '80s offerings like Charlie's Angels, The A-Team or The Dukes of Hazard.how to fit bonnet struts to a 300zx
Apparently, this prevalence of action at the time wasn't just an American phenomenon. In Japan, a show called Seibu Keisatsu fulfilled the nation's need for shootouts and stunts. Nissan was a major sponsor of the show, and therefore the brand's vehicles were used extensively, including a highly modified Nissan Safari SUV also known as the Nissan Patrolpictured above.
In the show's lore, it was equipped with radar, a camera and a fire extinguisher capable of turning over a car. The series ran episodes from toand with the trailer below as indication, that allowed time for plenty of car jumps and explosions. The trailer below shows off some of the action of the series. It all starts out normal enough, but about a minute into the video there are all sorts of Nissans jumping and crashing. Plus, there is a guy on fire in a shootout.
This show looks like some seriously cheesy fun. Scroll down to get a taste of it. Year: Mileage: Color:. Location: Sacramento, California, United States. All Rights Reserved.

This one turned over once, and immediately fired up like it was your everyday driver waking up on a Monday morning. What a great feeling. No leaks, no smoke, no erratic idle It's actually quite a bit louder than I expected Engine control is on its own computer, which when necessary speaks with the Nissan electronics remaining in the car.
So far its been seamless. Knock on Wood. Most of the plumbing is finished. We still need to charge the AC and lower those charge lines a couple inches. Their current height offers a visual comparison as to how much lower the LS engine valve covers sit compared to the VG motors with double overhead cam heads. One of the bigger challenges was keeping the hood latch.
Lots of guys are forced to utilize hood pins when they get to the point where they begin adding a larger capacity radiator. Some builds relocate their radiators forward, pushing them out past the core support, and then tilting them forward in what's termed a "V-mount".Roger grimau novia
However, many people think this practice has a negative affect on airflow through the radiator. And because the condenser is in the way, you invariably have to give up any hope of air conditioning in the car.
We were able to keep both the condenser and the radiator vertical, and inside the radiator core support. As you can see, I'm going to lose the hood prop because of the intake piping.
Is Winfactory still the go-to-source for hood struts? As a general rule, we tried to keep everything as stock appearing as possible both in the cabin, and the exterior. So far we've been successful; and aside from wheels and tires and the rear exhaust tips, the car looks OEM stock Z We've still got some tiding up to do with wires and lines; and we need to get our a shifter solution back from the fabricators before we can drive it.
But for the most part, the heavy lifting is done.Chicago fire fanfiction casey and herrmann
Did I say it was loud? Any plans to get different valve covers? Corvettes are in my DNA from way back when. Now where's the video of how this thing sounds?! The engine fired right up and it makes all the right noises.

All done utilizing AutoCAD, Solidworks and my new 3D printer making the precision of my custom goodies very high and updates very fast! Got my numbers and measurements. Specs for those who like numbers.
Shrank down the adjustment head to a 17mm Total adjustment comes in at 3 degrees Fixed length sets base angle at I chose these dimensions with thought that it is easier to push excess camber out, by shimming the upper bracket as we have with the degree camber plates, than to try and push it in But with this setup, no more failing arms from bad threads, or twisting loose, hard to access adjustment screws or giant bolts, cheap bearings failing and hopefully no more alignment guys saying how much it sucked to adjust!!!!
Thank everyone for the interest, can't wait to get these out in the next couple of weeks! Here are my new front upper control arms for the Z!! Made from wall DOM, custom Delrin style bushings and a custom full length cam bolt! Total change in angle will be determined tomorrow on the lift and be verified once we go to the alignment shop. Over the years, I have, as well as many others, gotten fed up with the current and past arms as they are either weak or just a pain to adjust.
So I finally got fed up enough to make my own! These will be ready to go in weeks!! So yesterday was a great day! We all met up in Austin, at Mister Tramps Pub courtesy of Luke Williams, to hash out everything we could think of in 8 hours!
Discussions went very well, ranging from the most recent debacles to a bunch of the rumors and bs being spread or said to new developments and ideas coming up to how each of us do things and how we came to our ways. And oddly, the rumors and hear say goodies took up the majority of the discussions!
We got a lot of things cleared up and got both sides of the stories out in other areas. Overall, it was great to hang out with everyone, have a great pow-wow, laugh, eat, drink and work toward becoming a better community!
Thanks again to Scott, Rick, Dane and Mitch for making this happen and looking forward to getting together again! Edit: Please share this and feel free to contact any or all of us and share your support for our community working to come together! Getting some work and fun stuff done on Ronnie Mullins Z.
And a little before and after on the WINFactory coil pack brackets! Installed an Air Lift 3P system for a buddy in his Z. Did a spare tire delete and mounted everything under the car! For anyone who is thinking of doing air ride, get the system with ride height sensors!! Otherwise, the setup is pretty darn nice. Finally getting around to Ronnie Mullins motor! Once the heads come in this week, then it's on to the custom turbo setup! Did a nice little custom airlift setup on a customers ZMost people are in the high up to low horsepower range with their stock turbos and stock engines and in January of this car made horsepower at the wheels.
This was done on E85 with the tiny stock turbos maxing out at I think the trick here is the fact that we're using a highly tunable standalone ECU from Adaptronic, we have all the "breather mods" done for intake and exhaust, and the car is running E85 fuel.
It seems that E85 is not popular in the zx communities but we're convinced it's the holy grail to making power on a turbo car. What is something really notable about it? Horsepower, rare or special modification, something nobody else has done to theirs?
Why did you build your car the way you did?
Get the Best Priced Nissan 300ZX Hood Strut
It's totally possible to throw bigger turbos on a Z32 and blow the doors off the hp mark, it's practically common So no internal engine work was done, the turbos were not modified at all, just bolt-ons. If I really wanted to make "the most power" I would LS swap it and then turbocharge it and make 1,hp!
You can throw parts at any car to magnify the stock horsepower, but this project is all about maximizing the capabilities of how Nissan built it in the first place. Are you done with it? If not, what's next? You know, the car made horsepower, and it feels strong and probably fairly safe to drive Max boost at That really bummed me out so I want to pull the motor and put in some aftermarket wastegate actuators with a higher spring pressure.
We'll do that then go back to the dyno and hopefully sustain a higher boost level for a longer period of time. What's your favorite thing about the type of car you have?
I think the car is way ahead of its time. The technologically advanced electronics, stuffing an amazing TT V6 with rear wheel steering in this tiny car is just crazy! Let alone the fact that the interior feels amazing and is gorgeous.
All of those things paired with the timeless look of the body just blows my mind.
You don't see a car that is this impressive every day in form, function and technology. It is just a marvel of an automobile and that makes it special. It's of course very fun to drive with high horsepower potential and I want to celebrate what makes this car special.
No wild body kits or engine swaps or custom interiors here, just "upgraded" OEM beauty. What's your favorite thing to DO with your car?Facebook maschera | famiglia blog
I have some other cars that all kind of do one thing better than the other - all show no go, or vice versa, but this car is both show-worthy, and race track ready. So other than cruising around town, this car is perfectly at home at the car show or race track. I would prefer to race this car than to show it at a car show, but could do either one just fine. If you HAD to start over with the same car and do it all again, what would you do differently?
I adopted his vision and ironed it out in my opinion. I added my own personal style to it and just kept pushing the project in the same direction that he was headed in. I wouldn't do it any different, because this build is very purposeful, nothing here was done on a whim or by accident. It's a beautiful specimen that doesn't need any body kits or flashy interiors, it's just a fast version of the stock car.
